Beginner's mind is a state that takes courage to achieve. We must be able to let go of our fear and our cultural conditioning to see things as they are. This mindset helps us to access our creativity and playfulness, which is beneficial for problem solving and artistic pursuit.

Pendulums have been used by people across history and while their is some research that shows decreased bias in answers found through pendulum use, the nature of the tool and the infinite variables involved mean that no guarantees can be made as to their effectiveness in the use you put them to.
